"You said love had played you like a fool, that your heart had given up... Boy I'm here to prove... that love looks good on you."
Blake And I met on the corner of Ninth & Everett in "The Pearl" district of Portland. After planning our own wedding, we realized that our backgrounds in personal assisting, interior decorating and design work really complimented each other nicely throughout the wedding planning process.
After we planned our own wedding, we decided to help friends with theirs. One by one we helped friends... then friends of friends... and now... our company!
We hope that you enjoy the photos and video from our special day!
We got married under the Saint John's Bridge a few miles outside of Portland. For us it was a destination wedding. We currently live in Nashville, TN, but because we met in Portland, we decided to say our vows there.
The Saint Johns Bridge was designed by the same architect that designed the golden gate bridge, so in a way, we had the San Francisco vibe at our Pacific northwest wedding.
We wanted our wedding day attire to make a statement! We found these incredible blazers at Two Old Hippies in Nashville and paired them with tuxedo rentals from Street Tuxedo.
We spent the day getting ready at Portland's Mayor's Mansion - a bed and breakfast overlooking a stunning park. We rented the entire place out for the weekend, and truly felt like Kings.
We had our first look in the international rose garden, the largest rose garden in the world, and then we headed to the bridge to say our vows.
